Hi! 

We are Josi and Bekki, or better known to our mothers as Josephine and Rebekka — just two millennials who trauma-bonded in a flower shop. 

Bougain was dreamt up in Cape Town, South Africa, where Josi is from, but eventually found a home in Munich, with Bekki as a co-owner. 

Thanks to opportunities for both Josi and Bekki to have lived abroad — in the United States, Canada, and South East Asia — our influences are diverse, and we draw creativity from all that we have experienced. 

For us, it is important to create intentional floral moments, where every stem is used with purpose, and each piece is individualistic, with our style collaborating with that of our client. 

We aren’t your everyday florists, and you’re probably not your everyday customer.
