Moss Garden Dreams

In February 2024, my husband Philip and I had the incredible opportunity to return to my home country of South Africa, where we took part in two breathtaking photoshoots. The first of these shoots was set in the beautiful wine region just outside Stellenbosch, an area renowned for its scenic vineyards and charming landscapes.

For this shoot, we teamed up with the talented Mandie from Grounded Floristry, who helped us bring to life the moss garden of my dreams. The ethereal setting, with its lush greenery and natural beauty, was the perfect backdrop for the stunning Sadie Bosworth gowns. Rialene Nel, who is always a vision, was transformed into the most enchanting bridal fairy, effortlessly embodying the whimsical spirit of the shoot with help from the magician of a makeup artist, Marnel Toerien.

The magic of the day was expertly captured by the talented photographers, Chantel from Chantel and May Photography. Her skillful eye and artistry allowed us to relive the entire experience through her beautiful images. The gorgeous stationery for the shoot, which added an extra touch of elegance, was thoughtfully designed and provided by Grania at Ink and Paper London.

And of course, none of this would have been possible without the incredible organisation and coordination by Katrien from Atelier Ateljee. Her meticulous attention to detail ensured that every element of the shoot came together seamlessly, from the floral arrangements to the final touches, all wrapped up in a perfect bow.
